Drive over Die Linden to the Nikolaikirche church. Carry on by foot to Berlin Town Hall. Overview of the history of Berlin. On to Berlin Cathedral dating back to Imperial Germany, with a guided tour of the cathedral.

Drive to the Reichstag, and from there go by foot to Pariser Platz with the Germania Hauptstadtplanung and Wilhelmstrasse: "The National Socialists’ State Mile"

Lunch at Porta or Heat

On the way to the Berlin-Hohenschönhausen memorial and the Stasi prison we'll be driving past Checkpoint Charlie, through the Kreuzberg district, over the Oberbaumbrücke bridge, past remnant of the Berlin World Exhibition and the East Side Gallery to Hohenschönhausen - a little bit of old East German authenticity.

Drive to the Prenzlauer Berg district with its Ernst Tellmann Park and gas works

A refreshing cup of coffee and happy hour in the lively and colourful art district

Return to the hotel via Invalidenstrasse, New Berlin Central Station Lehrter Bahnhof and the Federal Chancellor’s Office, then via Potsdamer Platz and Friedrichstrasse
